Kiwiana Day

On the 26th of March, we had a Kiwiana Day Every-body could order Fish and Chips and get them at lunch time. Before Kiwiana Day we worked, so we could have a kiwiana poster compititon . The people who won were Ruby, Cameron and Sabine. There were runners up prizes and I got one. Kiwiana Day was a big succes and I reallyenjoyed it.

Cable Bay Camp

On Thursday 27th of March rm 7 went to camp. Our camp was at Cable Bay. When we got there we put up our tents. When we got them up most of us had food in our tents, but some of us played volley-ball. When Jonathon called us in we went to the beach and made huts. It started raining so after a while we went back to the camp-ground. We were'nt allowed to go in our tents because we were sopping wet. We had our bags with us so we had lunch outside the kitchen where we couldn't get more wetter! We went down the beach and collected sticks and stones to make sculptures. My sculpture was a funny person. Later that night we had a camp fire and a barbeque and parents could come to it. When most parents had gone we went for a night-walk. It was quite tiring!It was hard getting to sleep because the girls in the tent next to us kept talking. We woke up at 2 oclock cause they were still taking. In the morning we had breakfast and then walked up Pippin Island. It was fun, but tiring!!!! It was the best camp ever.

Hi I am Maddie and 9 years old.My friends are Mila, Rochell, Bria, Lucy, Ruby Mand S and loads more.My hobbies are Netball, dancing, soccer, swimming and loads more. My favurite animal is dogs. I also like cats, pandas, cows and penguins. I have a fish called Bronzie and I used to have a dog called Toby but it got put down. I have a sister called Lucy and a brother called Charlie.
